The a cappella pop group, Pentatonix, had released their latest musical album, “Holidays Around the World,” this holiday season. One of the songs on the disc, “Prayers for the World”, has recently gained popularity. Talented singers included Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Matt Sallee, Kevin Olusola and Kirstin Maldonado. They said celebrating different cultural experiences is the best part of the holiday season.
The band said, “It was cool because we also got to experience all the cultural differences in music there.
So the album is really fun and really eclectic in that way. But it was great just because we’ve never had this much scope in the type of music we make. The three originals included in the album were “Prayers for the World”, “Kid on Christmas”, which was a collaboration with Meghan Trainor, and “Star on Top”.
The magnificent masterpiece “Prayers for the World” was written by Diane Warren. The band’s vocalist, Olusola, said the song tells us a lot about the current state of the world. The reason why Pentatonix is exceptional, according to their fans, is because no one could realize that the instrumental in the background was actually them. The backing and supporting harmony were just fantastic.
They just added to the intensity of the very punchy Maldonado had a powerful vocal that showed off the amount of raw talent in this song. She was known to be a belt. However, now she has shown people that her voice can be silky smooth and expressive. The visuals were stunning as they featured water with the vibration of the beat and the beautiful white curtains in the background, giving it a dreamy feel. Everyone was powerful and talented.
The stunning vocals along with the beautiful song sequence made this song a masterpiece. The music and lyrics they released to the world, about taking care of each other or being kind to each other, was the message of this holiday season.
