Jadyn Rylee, 11, sang the most stunning cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence.” She performed the world famous song with her drummer friend Sina. The piano ushered in the song, and Jadyn began singing in an empty black studio.
Her voice was angelic, but she sounded slightly shy and reserved. Jadyn’s voice did not falter and she only gained confidence and poise as the performance continued.
Once Sina started drumming, Jadyn’s mood seemed to change. Jadyn grabbed the mic and unleashed the true talent within her. There was a voice that sounded way beyond his age. Apparently, Jadyn has been singing since she learned to speak at the age of three.
Since then, she has continued to improve. One of her favorite songs to sing was Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” Jadyn ended the song with a soft, calm note similar to how she started. However, his confidence and presence were clearly different. She may not look like a rockstar, but she has the voice.
