Canada’s Got Talent host Lindsay Ell made her presence felt thanks to another beautiful lady who rocked the stage tonight. Her name is Anica and she shared that she lives in nine foster homes, with the last foster family giving her a guitar. Anica went on to explain the music’s commentary “helped me make sense of everything I’d been through.”
The singer hails from Grand-Barachois, New Brunswick, and has been performing for over 40 years, but her life hasn’t exactly been a walk in the park. And yet she walked on stage with all the confidence in the world. Her life has not been easy but she exudes joy on stage with her contagious personality.
Anica sang “Unstoppable” by Sia, but she added her own flavor to the song. Strumming her acoustic guitar and unleashing a voice that could fit an 80s rock band, Anica had the judges and audience quickly applauding as she sang at the top of her voice.
