The first time Terry came to this shelter was a long time ago, six months ago.
The next time he showed up to help care for the cats, he brought his comb. After that, Terry began to visit the shelter daily.
In this place, animals are not euthanized unless they find a new home and owners for them. Cats don’t live in cages here. Many of those held here have various disabilities. It is for this reason that Terry liked this shelter so much. More than anything, he wanted to help those poor things that people did not want to take into their homes.
The founder of the shelter says that Terry immediately offered his help, without demanding payment for his work. When the employees agreed, the man began to come constantly. Gradually his visits became daily.
Terry even developed an interesting habit: to sleep on the couch next to the cats, who always willingly fit on his legs or next to him. Cats love this man very much. Sometimes Terry manages to calm even the most nervous of them, just by showing them attention.
No one at the shelter objects to the man sleeping next to the cats. This does not bother anyone, and the animals are delighted with what is happening.
Terry has been visiting the shelter as an official volunteer for a long time. Now he comes every day, with no exceptions for weekends and holidays.
Usually a man does not sleep for too long. Having rested near his favorites, he returns to work, responsibly treating the duties assigned to him. The cats always get everything they need thanks to Terry’s sincere affection.
Not so long ago, this man became popular in social networks. People appreciated his photos with cats. Terry even got his own nickname: cat grandfather. Everyone loved this man very much for his sincerity and devotion to the four-legged. He himself liked it, although he cannot explain why he became so famous on the network.
