It was windy and cold outside, so Niko was in a hurry to get home after work as soon as possible. A small kitten blocked his path to a warm house. The red-haired kid just sat in the middle of the sidewalk and was shaking desperately from fear and cold. The kitten was very small, it was difficult to notice, but it seemed that the animal understood this, so it cried desperately, attracting attention to itself.
Niko picked up the kitten and carried it home. The man thought that he would just feed and warm him, and then look for a new home for the baby. Niko covered the kitten from the wind with his jacket, and only after warming up, the baby finally stopped crying.
In the new house, the kitten warmed up and ate, Niko made him a small couch. The kid turned out to be cute and funny, the man began to think about whether he would look for a new family for him or leave him to himself. The dog that lives in Niko’s house also received the baby well. It took the kitten only a few hours to get used to it, it turned out to be sociable and cheerful. A few days later, Niko was firmly convinced that the baby would remain in his house.
The kitten grew very quickly and gained weight. When he was one year old, he was already an order of magnitude larger than his relatives at that age. Niko decided to find out about the breed of his pet, and searching the Internet convinced him that he had found a Maine Coon on the street. These cats are real champions among their species. They grow up to a meter tall, weigh about 10 kg. Time passed, and the traits of the breed became more and more pronounced in the ginger kitten: his paws got stronger, his hair became long and thick, tassels appeared on his ears.
Niko’s pet has grown large even by the standards of his breed. The cat weighs 14 kg and is much taller than the dog living in the house. If in the early days the cat was placed on the palm of your hand, now it is not easy to hold it in your arms for a long time. He became the largest cat in his breed.
Niko loves his pet, he does not forbid him anything and loves to pamper him. At night, the cat needs half of the owner’s bed, and bathes exclusively in the bathroom.
