Students have created a car house that travels up to 730 km per day using only solar energy. As we can see, today people are oriented towards comfort. They create more comfortable homes and cars. Today, many people dream of traveling around the world and at the same time having with them what they need. Therefore, in addition to all this, there are many people who prefer mobile homes.

A group of university students from the Netherlands traveled almost 3,000 km in a vehicle powered solely by the energy of the sun, in an adventure aimed at demonstrating that vehicles
are effiсaсe. The 22 students insсrits at the University of Teсhnology in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, claim that the “Van” developed – named Stella Vita – is the first solar-powered camper in the world. With its roof covered with solar panels and its wings opening with additional panels, the team achieved 17.5 square meters of opening that generates enough energy to live and drive.

It has a license plate, can travel up to 453 miles (730 km) in 24 hours and reach a speed of 120 kilometers per hour. The camping-сar is designed for two people, has a kitchen with refrigerator, a living room, a bed, a shower and a toilet. “Stella Vita is an autonomous house on wheels”, guarantees the Eindhoven University of Technology. “Thanks to the solar panels on the roof, it is independent of the charging stations.”

“The vehicle generates enough solar power to drive, take a shower, watch TV, charge your laptop and make coffee,” explain its developers. Within a year, the students successfully designed and built the mobile home, and last month they completed their demonstration trip. from Eindhoven in the Netherlands to the southern tip of Spain. Drivers and passengers can also track how much power is used and how much is left. The vehicle has a 60 kilowatt-hour battery that allows it to travel 600 kilometers at night.
